So in my free time, I like to make earrings, and hair accessories. I enjoy it alot. Having 3 girls who are into accessories is great, because they can wear the hair accessories I make, and that tenda to bring me a few customers. I just started selling on Etsy.com. So hopefully business will pick up for me. I think its good to have more than one income, especially being a single parent of 4.

Love My Natural Hair
So I've been wearing my hair natural for 11 months now and I love it. It's thick and healthy.
I started perming my hair when I was 13. That was so long ago. My hair was so thin and dry from the perm. If it wasn't for this girl braiding my hair long, I wouldn't have made the big chop. So thank you.
Today I have a nice size afro. I've had just the front braided, two strand twist, mohawks, faux hawk, and corn rolls. Now I am considering locs. So since I will be off tomorrow, I will two strand twist my hair, and wait patiently for my hair to loc. I've read alot on it and I am aware that this can take weeks, or even months. This is now apart of my life journey. I welcome the challenge. Luv & Blessins!!!

Natural Hair For 11 Months.
Man, when I went natural it wasn't by chose. I was taking out my braids and realized that the girl had tied, and knotted my hair around the braid. I cried, and cried, because I just started growing my hair back.
So last year for my birthday, I did the big chop. I rocked an afro for about six months. When it grew long enough, I started wearing two strand twist, mohawks, and I would rock flower clips, and headbands, cause I'm an accessories girl.
Today I decided to press my hair out and see how long it is. I have to say, that I'm very pleased with the results. Not sure how long this press will last, cause I stay in Las Vegas.

Day 7 of Two Week Ambi Facial Products
Ok so it's day 7, and well all I can say is my skin is glowing. I can tell that the fade cream is starting to work, and it will definitely take me more than 2 weeks to see results. My dark spots are very dark. I don' t try to cover up my face with makeup. The only thing I wear is Carmex and Bath & Body Works Lipgloss. Occassionally, I'll put on eyeshadow. I did break out on my left cheek area. So I will continue and keep you posted. Luv & Blessins!!!

Busy With 4 Kids
Today was very busy for my family. 4 Dr. appointments early in the morning. Geesh! An 11 year old son, a 7 year old daughter, and twin girls age 6. The busy life of me, but I wouldn't trade it for nothing.
Today, I got some deals on school supplies at Walgreens. Tomorrow we will head to Walmart for their current school supply sale, and go back Sunday for a different school supply sale. Shopping for all of them can be very expensive. If its clothing that I have to buy, I usually shop for them two at a time, and pass down the oldest daughters clothes to the twins if there in good condtion. Thank goodness, I work in retail.
How do I handle Christmas shopping for them? Very simply. Thank goodness for layaway. I use Burlington Coat Factory (90 day layaway), and TJ Maxx (30 day layaway + my 10% employee discount). That is all I need to keep us all afloat.

Ambi Skin Care
So today I decided to try Ambi Skin Care products. I have dark spots on my cheeks, and under my chin. I truely hate my face.
Before I decided to go natural with my hair, I was hiding my face with wigs, and weaves. Well now I'm almost 11 months natural, and well my face is out there.
I went to Walgreens and purchased Ambi Even & Clear Exfoliating Wash ($7.49), Ambi Even & Clear Daily Moisturizer with SPF 30 ($12.99), and Ambi Fade Cream for oily skin ($5.79). It says I will see results in 14 days. I will try to post pics of my skin progress. Little by little I will discover a beautiful, peaceful, loving me. Embarking on a new life.
